Bideford Post Office and neighbours, The Quay
To its left, beside Ropewalk, is the long boathouse of the Bideford Amateur Rowing Club. To the right of the Post Office is the former Municipal Technical Schools of 1896 and now an exhibition space, I think.

Former Municipal Technical Schools, Bideford
The carved brickwork records that it was built in 1896, and records H Ascott as mayor and J W Narraway as honorary secretary. In small print under the lip at the bottom are the names of builder and architect. The building is used for adult education and other civic activities
