An iron plinth in Granville Road
Set close to the wall (and therefore in the road itself) is a large, rusty piece of ironmongery. Now seemingly of reduced height and function, its purpose is a puzzle. An information sign nearby is similarly placed in the way of traffic.

Old wood fuelled boiler at Tunnel Beaches
This boiler was used to power the pump which supplied sea water to the Bath House Image Driftwood was collected during the winter and used to fuel the boiler during the busy summer months, raising water from the beach below to supply hot and cold water to the bath house. Initially the baths were used by the wealthy as a health treatment but later they were a facility for the inhabitants who did not have baths at home.
