'Brooklands' on High Street, Combe Martin
A rather fine town house, dating from around 1820, and Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1325711 & https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101325711-brooklands-combe-martin in 1987. The listing mentions a dog-leg staircase, and that much of the original 19th century interior joinery is still in place.

Bee boles in the garden wall of The Pack o' Cards pub
A set of 12 bee boles built into the NW boundary wall of the pub; such boles were incorporated into the shelter of a wall to provide a niche for straw hives. These now appear to be housing a gang of brightly coloured garden gnomes. The boles are included in the Grade II* listing of the pub.

Damaged OS benchmark - Combe Martin
Located on a brick & stone gatepillar at the foot of a path to Cranleigh Terrace, this mark was originally recorded at 20.05m Newlyn datum, but the datum mark has pretty much been lost to the damage to the brick.

Built to relate to a pack of cards, i.e. 4 floors to represent suits in a pack and 13 fireplaces to correspond to the number of cards in a suit and reputedly 52 windows as per the number of cards in a pack.
