School for arts
The Old School in Pilton, stood beside the church of St Mary, served for many years before closing. It is now home to the Pilton Arts Group - a local association of artists that use the well-lit former classrooms for occasional courses and studies.

St Mary's church, Pilton
The church originally served a Benedictine priory and became a parish church after the Dissolution. The C13 tower was repaired in 1696, and the top part rebuilt in 1845-50.
