Bowhill, Exeter
One of Exeter's most valuable historic buildings is unprepossessingly set on a main road leading out of town. From "Greater medieval houses of England and Wales, 1300-1500", by Anthony Emery: "Painstaking restoration between 1980 and 1997 not only reversed its swiftly deteriorating condition but retrieved most of the house's original late fifteenth-century character."

Broadway bus terminus, Cowick Lane, Exeter ? 1973
Here are two former Exeter City Transport buses, now operating as part of the Devon General subsidiary of the National Bus Company which had taken over the city services in 1970. On the right 263 on service M is still in the original Exeter City Transport green livery, while on the left 286 has been repainted in the traditional Devon General red and white. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=137652761
