Overmantel in Cowick Barton inn
It is believed that the room with this plaster decoration was formerly a schoolroom, which may explain the children running from a demon to the angel. The Bible reference is to the verse which reads: I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
