Ash House, Falcon Road, Sowton, Exeter
Ash House is home to a branch of the Highways Agency as well as the southwest regional office of Halcrow, acting merely as consulting engineers, not as the multinational company. A number of major public and private organisations have outposts at Sowton, which is close to junction 30 of the M5 motorway and thus good access to a wider area. There is a Park and Ride terminus at Sowton as well as the Digby and Sowton suburban station on the Exeter-Exmouth railway line, well-photographed by other contributors.
