Trendy facade
A picture framing business, a tile suppliers and two fast food outlets share this building which has a very modern-looking facade, though the tiled roof and brickwork at the sides suggest that the building has stood here for quite a while. The location is Honiton Road, at the northern edge of the large Sowton Industrial Estate.

Railway bridge, Honiton Road
The road is the A3015, an important link between Exeter town centre and the M5 junction 29. However, this bridge, with a clearance of just 14'6", would be a tight squeeze for some commercial vehicles. The bridge carries The Avocet Line - a branch line connecting Exeter and Exmouth.
