Cycle Route on Topsham Road, Exeter
A segregated cycle track and footway besides Topsham Road in Exeter. The give way markings of a side road have been set back from the edge of the main carriageway. A pragmatic solution to ensure cyclists using the cycle track have priority over traffic using the side road.

Newport Lodge
Classified by Exeter as a Building of Local Importance, but not listed. However, Alan Rosevear has given a detailed description at http://www.flickr.com/photos/tollhouses/3121030946/ , which comments: "The principal structure is thought to have been built for the Exeter Turnpike Trust in 1841 in the form of a lodge house with angular front."
On the left is the main road to Exeter from Topsham. Overhead is a rainbow.

Toll House in the parish of Exeter (Exeter District), now Newport Lodge, Exeter Road, Topsham, EX2 7DR. The principal structure is thought to have been built for the Exeter Turnpike Trust in 1841 in the form of a lodge house with angular front.
