Wind-bent trees on track to Thinwood
The prevailing wind is from the west, the coast is only eight miles or so away. Hedgerow trees bent over by the wind are a familiar sight in Cornwall.

Gently rolling countryside if you are in a car, a series of nasty little steep hills if you are on a bicycle. There are sheep and lambs in many of the fields.
