Lowertown Cottages viewed from Coryton Quarry
This view shows Lowertown cottages from the spoilheaps of Coryton Quarry on Eastcott Down. At the bottom left is Ford Cottage. Behind Lowertown is Coryhill plantation. This view has a special significance for me because my grandmother lived for many years in one of the Lowertown Cottages.

Ford Cottage
A view from Lowertown, northeast of Coryton. On the left, above the fields, Lew Wood rises to Eastcott Beacon (the summit of the ridge is just out of square). Beyond the cottage, the lane climbs towards Eastcott.
