Problem solved, Northlew
The drastic action advised at Image has obviously worked. Seven years on, this notice reads, in part, "through your help we no longer have a problem with dog mess". I don't recall seeing a dog anywhere in the village on this visit, though I did meet a very friendly cat - see Image
