Sampford Courtenay railway station, Devon
Opened in 1867 on the London & South Western Railway's line from Exeter Central to Plymouth, this station closed in 1972. It was reopened for seasonal weekend trains in 2002. View south west towards Okehampton and Plymouth, although the line terminated at Meldon quarry when this image was taken. Previously there had been two tracks and two platforms here, both stretching much closer to the camera position.
