The lane that has climbed onto the moor from Sticklepath splits in two here; left goes to Throwleigh, while right skirts the edge of the open moor to Shilstone.

Lane at Clannaborough
The sheep has just rounded the bend and has stopped, nonplussed at seeing me. She eventually headed up the track to the left, where Image was taken. Blackaton Brook crosses the lane at Payne's Bridge, roughly where the sheep is standing.
