Natwest bank, Okehampton
What makes this building special is the elliptical window on the first floor, looking rather like a Victorian portrait frame. The pattern of glazing bars is echoed in the window over the door, although the latter has an ellipse in the centre rather than a circle.

The Town Hall and Lloyds TSB, Okehampton
The Town Hall has a little pediment specially for the coat-of-arms, and an oriel bay window from which presumably the mayor could watch the world go by. Pevsner gives the date of the Town Hall as 1685, and Lloyds Bank 1908.

The White Hart Inn, Okehampton
A former coaching inn, but without an archway to a yard. Access was perhaps from the road on the left side. The three-dimensional inn sign is superb.
