Lodge in Simmons Park Okehampton
The park, which opened in 1907, was funded by Sydney Simmons, a locally-born man who made his fortune with his two companies, The Patent Steam Carpet Beating Company and The Compressed Air Carpet and Tapestry Cleaning Company.
