Trains passing at Crediton
Viewed from the station footbridge. A train for Exeter departing and one for Barnstaple approaching. Now that the line to Okehampton has been re-opened, Crediton has an enhanced, mostly half-hourly service to and from Exeter, with hourly services to Barnstaple and Okehampton..

Looking east-south-east in the Exeter direction. In 2006 the station was managed by First Great Western. It’s on the Tarka Line linking Exeter and Barnstaple. Running westwards the gradient increases here from 1 in 521 to 1 in 137
