Towards the Batherm valley from Ballhill Lane
The lane, carrying Bampton Footpath 14, bends sharply at this point, with a gateway offering a view down the last kilometre of the valley before the Batherm joins the Exe. On the left across the valley are the wooded slopes of Bowbier Hill.
