Bickleigh: near Henbere
Looking east towards Hillersdon Wood from the Bickleigh – Burrow Corner lane. Note on spellings: 'Although the 1:50,000 has Henbere for the farm, the 1:25000 has Henbere for the farm and Henbear (with an 'a') for the woods, while the 1:10000 has Henbere for the farm and Henbeer for the woods, so clearly there is no standard spelling'[Pennington]. The Pathfinder 1:25000 of 1976 has Henbeer for the farm.
