Barton Lands Farm
"This is an interesting farmhouse containing an unusually early roof truss and a
remarkably well-preserved curing chamber" http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-95903-barton-lands-farmhouse-culmstock . The thatched farmhouse is beside Culmstock Footpath 4.

Culm flood plain
From Culmstock Footpath 4 where it emerges through this gate from a field access track onto the open meadows beside the river. The footbridge over the river shown in Image can be seen right of centre. The hill in the background is Culmstock Beacon.

Fry's Farm, Culmstock
On the left side of the facade there is a panel reading "1711 Fry's Farm 1910". The style of the building suggests that it dates from the later date, and the conservatory is a much more recent addition
