I guess that a building here was once a pub called The Three Mariners. On the far right is Three Mariners Farm. More research needed.

Three mariners
This is a small hamlet clustered round the crossroad where the Honiton to Stockland road crosses the Cotleigh to Monkton Barton minor road. There was a Three Mariners Pub at one time , perhaps the cottage up the road 200m with the same name that is Grade II listed.
