Honiton Inn
This attractive mock Tudor inn can be dated back to the eighteenth century, when it was probably in a more rural location; it has survived the bombing of WWII and the planners immediately afterwards. Today, however, it is surrounded by modern office blocks and a busy inner city roundabout, and the inn has been closed for many years now. Doubts are mentioned about its capability to reopen as an inn and it is therefore being marketed as an opportunity for residential/student schemes. Traditional sign
The Honiton Inn has been closed for a number of years and the sign reflects the demise. Incidentally, Honiton was famous for lace-making and hence the unusual pub sign.
