J. While & Sons (closed)
Closed butchers shop on Marine Place, Seaton. The white patch visible on the door was a cartoon dated 2010 (presumably when the shop closed). It was somewhat in the style of Larry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_(cartoonist) ) and was a satire on the prevalence of Tesco stores. At the time of the taking of this photo a Tesco store is being built by the tramway station in the town.

The road leading away from the viewpoint is Marine Place. The road has been engineered so that traffic travels into Harbour Road. The Esplanade leads away to the right just in front of the viewpoint.
