George's Meeting House, Exeter
Built in 1760, with smart cornice, quoins, graceful parapet and Tuscan porch. The fine interior is preserved, but this is a very different sort of meeting house from that intended by Nonconformists when George I ascended the throne. From church to (very popular) pub.

House in Palace Gate, Exeter
Between the first floor windows there is a fire-mark indicating which company insured the house in the period before a public fire service. I am not sure whether or not this is an original one, or a reproduction, as many have "disappeared" from buildings to collections.
