A rather different elevation faces Coombe Street from the stucco rounded corner shown in Image This somewhat austere brick facade is enlivened by reflected sunlight from the modern windows of Tunworth Court and Concord House.

South Street, Exeter
A row of older buildings at the eastern end of South Street, where it climbs a little to the site of the South Gate. The White Hart, its Georgian front disguising a much older building, is in the centre; to this side of it is a mid-C17 house with a continuous first-floor window; and Coombe House has a pleasing curved corner, even if the hairdresser's name is predictable.
