Sewer Vent Pipe, Alexandria road
One of a number still in Sidmouth. This one was possibly used to serve the near by railway station. The house in the background being built in 1902.

This Georgian pillar box in Alexandria Road was swapped around with a small post mounted Elizabethan box now in Winslade Road.

The meeting place,The Knapp
A local Sidmouth nature reserve.The trees behind are conifers and Beech. The long term plan is to harvest the conifers and let the Beech trees form a hanger.
The Victorians quite often did this to hill forts.

A little bit of overnight rain
The Knapp Nature reserve.
This pond was emptied and drained during the summer.
It has now filled up naturally with rainwater.
Heavy overnight rain has caused it to overflow.

Ice in March
Rain and snow has caused a nearby pond on the Knapp Nature Reserve to overflow over the pathway. Days of bitter cold winds and below average temperatures has turned the water in to ice.
