Honour Guard
Bringing up the rear of the Remembrance Day parade is the honour guard with the officer who took the salute. Behind are the civic dignitaries. Somehow, the modern guns don't look quite right for ceremonial work. Perhaps there should be some Lee-Enfields with their polished wooden stocks kept for events like this.

Detail of old shop sign
The full sign reads "The Exchange William Bros. Direct Supply Stores Ltd". This sign was covered up until recently by a modern plastic one for the print shop that closed recently. This sign has been covered up for at least 10 years to my knowledge and probably much longer. Any information gratefully received. See http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3223053 for a photo of the whole building
