Holyrood Park
Northeastern edge of the park, with some of the trees planted in the early 1980's following the cessation of sheep grazing in the park. Two football grounds in the distance - big lights at Meadowbank Stadium, home of Edinburgh City, and the stands of Easter Road beyond (Hibernian).

According to the Ordnance Survey trigonometric survey database, there was a school here and belfry was used as a survey point. Parson's Green was a big house and gardens just downhill from here.
