Signposts, Hawkhill
Urban Eden! The road on the left, Lochend Butterfly Way was the trackbed of the railway between Waverley and Leith Central which hung on as a freight line into the 1970s. It was a relatively late addition to the network and does not appear on 1890s maps, when this was agricultural land.
