The Loch Inn pub is situated on the junction of Lochend Road and Sleigh Drive. The pub has a slightly run down appearance and could do with a lick of paint. Next door is the Yong Hua Garden Chinese takeaway.

16thC doocot, Lochend Park
The doocot almost certainly belonged to nearby Lochend Castle which was originally owned by the Logans of Restalrig. It is believed that it was used as a kiln to burn the infected clothing of plague victims during the outbreak of plague in Leith in the winter of 1645.
