Car transporter, London Road
The view from Comely Green Crescent shows a car transporter which has just made a delivery to one of the several car showrooms in the Lower London Road area. The structure behind it is the entrance tower to Meadowbank Shopping Park.

Early Victorian tenement, Comely Green Place
A tenement of quality in the full Edinburgh New Town style, curiously isolated amidst a variety of old industrial premises, car show-rooms and modern apartment blocks. The Victorian sculptor, David Watson Stevenson, whose works adorn the Scott Monument, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and the Wallace Memorial in Stirling once lived at No.7.
