It's interesting how old schools are so instantly recognisable, mainly by the shape of their windows. This one now houses a nursery.

Footbridge over Lochshot Burn near Junction with River Almond
A burn well served by bridges. Are also smaller footbridges 100 yards to the North and South. Was at one point the only road heading West from Livingston Village, as can be seen on 1856 OS map.

Livingston Letterbox
I was delighted to find that the post office in Livingston Village has not fallen victim to cuts, and that I was able to make use of its services as well as photograph the post box outside.
