Innerleithen war memorial
The Innerleithen war memorial is a simple affair, basically a single stone slab set on a plinth with bronze plates attached. The buildings beyond the garden are council offices.

Burgh Chambers
In 1919, Henry Ballantyne, the managing director at Waverley Mill, purchased Home Villa and donated the building and grounds to the burgh for council use. The memorial hall opened in 1922.
