Blinkbonny
A popular street name in Edinburgh. Blinkbonny Road comes in to Blinkbonny Avenue from the left, and across the junction straight ahead is Blinkbonny Grove. These streets were laid out in the 1920s on the land of Blinkbonny Farm, which was just to the south of the Holiday Inn, which is on the skyline.

Craigleith in the Snow
Muted light on the snow-covered rooftops of Craigleith. In the background the Castle stands out sharply against Arthur's Seat. The three spires to the right are St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, and I think the one to the left of the Castle is the former Free Kirk.
