Snake's Head Fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris)
I was delighted to find that a section of the grounds of the Gallery of Modern Art One has been spared the depredations of the lawnmower, and is covered with spring plants including Daffodils, Primroses, Bluebells (sadly not the native Wild Hyacinth) and masses of the chequered bells of Fritillary.
