A variety of bales, Spottmuir
Both large "square" and round bales in this field, probably because of a rain interruption.
This is the site of the Battle of Dunbar (1296) at the start of the Wars of Independence, and quite significant as victory here for Edward I led to the end of the reign of John Balliol.
