New Uberior House
1990's Flash Gordon architecture, beloved of out of town shopping mall, on Lothian Road. The building has now been fully rebranded following the collapse and takeover of Halifax Bank of Scotland in 2008.

Drill Hall at Grindlay Court
At the time of WW1 the home of 1 Lowland Brigade Royal Field Artillery (HQ, 1 & 2 Batteries and Ammunition Column) in a court behind 30 Grindlay Street. I'm not sure if the part of the building on the right is part of the drill hall.http://www.geograph.org.uk/article/WW1-Great-War-Centenary---Drill-Halls/18#lothians. Since 1991 the building has been used by the Royal Lyceum Theatre Company, with the hall being used for rehearsals, and accessed at 30 Grindlay Street. Before the Lyceum it was used by Heriot-Watt University Students Union.

New Uberior House
Bank of Scotland office on Lothian Road. Ghastly 1990's "metropolis" style. At least the sci-fi halo has stuck on this building, unlike others.
