I have to say, an excellent service with good trains (No airline style seats with restricted view, large clean windows and lots of tables!).
Unfortunately, the site is a shadow of its former glory and the original station building was dismantled some time ago :- Image

The line to North Berwick was opened by the North British Railway in 1850. The station building was still in use in 1984 but was later demolished.

A train has arrived from Edinburgh and will depart at 1426. I used it to beat the headwind that would make a return journey unpleasant. Even British fares which are a disgrace, are worth paying to avoid a coastal headwind.
