The photographer is near the Leamington Lift Bridge. The modern buildings on the left are student accommodation. The row of houses beyond is Caledonian Crescent. The tall chimney is on the site of the former Caledonian Grain Whisky Distillery. The buildings at its base now appear to be accommodation.
