The Railway Tavern, Prestonpans
An attractive pub in a distinctive Scottish style with stepped gables. Not, as the name might suggest, adjacent to the railway, which is over half a mile away, although it is adjacent to the foot of the road which leads to the station.

The Railway Tavern, Prestonpans
On the High Street and for sale. The North British Railway Tavern was first a dwelling House, an asylum, a soldiers barracks, and built in 1628 so is possibly one of the oldest buildings in Prestonpans.
