Footbridge across the Dean Burn
This footbridge takes the footpath that runs west from the Penicuik Dalkeith Walkway along the Dean Burn in Lady Wood, Penicuik across the burn to give access to the Ladywood estate.

Mauricewood Miners' Memorial, off Mauricewood Road
A memorial erected in 1989 to the memory of 63 men and boys who died in a fire in the Mauricewood Pit in 1889. It was the initiative of Alan Montgomery, an ex-miner from Danderhall who became a local councillor in the area.
