Reclaimed industrial land, Roslin
The site of the former Moat Colliery and brickworks has been levelled and partly replanted, with an open area here for colonisation by wild plants and shrubs. Access is open with several footpaths.

Paths on reclaimed industrial site, Roslin
Funding from Midlothian District Council, landfill tax and Scottish Natural Heritage has transformed an area occupied by the former Moat Colliery and a brickworks to open ground surrounded by trees, to be colonised by plants and shrubs. The information sign is the same as that shown in Image located at the roadside entrance.
