Renovation at Newbyres Hall, Gorebridge (2)
The former church, community hall then masonic hall in Gorebridge is now undergoing extensive repair and rebuilding under the Gorebridge Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme. A new porch is being built (note the 2015 date stone above the door) and the building is being re-roofed. It will open as a nursery.

Renovation at Newbyres Hall, Gorebridge
This former church dates from 1858, became a masonic hall until 2009 and has now been purchased for use as a nursery. Renovation work, part funded by Gorebridge Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme, is in progress.
