Station Road, Newtongrange
Named after the former station here, and a new single-platform station is due to be built for the Borders Railway opening in September. On the 1926 One-Inch OS map, the village name was given as 'Newton Grange'. The houses are the end terraces of the planned street layout of miners' cottages built to house those working in the Lady Victoria Colliery.
