Newtongrange railway station, Midlothian
The original station, beyond the bridge, was opened in 1908 on the North British Railway's line from Edinburgh to Carlisle. It closed in 1969. The line from Edinburgh was rebuilt as far as Tweedbank in 2015, and a new station was provided at Newtongrange, this time south of the road bridge. View north towards Dalhousie and Edinburgh.
