Borders Railway under construction
The railway is being built on a new route at the northern end. Once past the Edinburgh City Bypass (A720), it uses the Waverley Line trackbed.

The old junction of the B6145 and A6106 is now a dead end. Lots of go away messages on the chevrons. The road to the left only goes to a farm, onward progress is not possible anyway due to the Borders Railway and A720.
