Bonnyrigg Health Centre
The large and very smart health centre opened in June 2007. The 4275 sq m Primary Care Resource Centre brought three existing Health Practices in Bonnyrigg together under one roof, providing a facility that supports minor surgery as well as the day to day demands of the General Practitioners. It is used as a model for combined Health Centres throughout the country.

Broomieknowe Station (remains)
View eastward, towards Esk Valley Junction and Edinburgh; ex-North British Edinburgh (Waverley) - Polton branch. The Station was closed when the branch passenger service ceased on 10/9/51, but the branch survived for goods until 18/5/64.

Bonnyrigg Parish Church
Bonnyrigg Parish Church in High Street, Bonnyrigg. First church built in Bonnyrigg, 1845 (Cockpen United Free Church), when Thomas Pitcairn, then minister of Cockpen Church of Scotland, left the C of S. He then became a Free church of Scotland minister, taking his congregation with him. They also built their own school opposite the church. This building is now the Parish Church Halls. 1929 Free Church rejoins the Church of Scotland and Bonnyrigg Parish Church is created.

Start of the shopping street. The wonderful Co-op building. Somehow the Scotmid colourscheme just fits it perfectly.
