Moredun housing regeneration
Edinburgh City Council was awarded £21 million from the Scottish Executive at the end of 2001 for the regeneration of Moredun Park and Hyvots. As well as demolition and new build, the regeneration proposals include refurbishment work which is being done on a block by block basis. Completion scheduled for April 2010.

North Wing of Dr Guthrie's Girls' School
This wing to the north of the main building of Image] was added in 1965. The architect was Alexander Esmé Gordon (1910-1993). There are carved panels in each bay of windows.
