Niddrie Mill Primary School
In front of the school building stands a Celtic cross carved from Corrennie granite from Aberdeenshire to a design by T T Paterson and erected in 1900. The inscription reads, "In sacred memory of Major General Andrew Gilbert Wauchope of Niddrie Marischal who fell in battle at Magersfontein, South Africa, 8th December 1899 while gallantly leading The Highland Brigade. Erected by the miners of Niddrie, the Tenants of Niddrie Estate and by other friends".

The Schoolhouse at Niddrie
A transformation of Niddrie Mill Primary School into new housing; all but the façade is new. On Niddrie Mains Road [A6095]. The building dates from before 1895 and was designed by the architect Robert Wilson in a Renaissance style.

Monument to Major General Andrew Gilbert Wauchope of Niddrie Marischal
A memorial in the grounds of what was Niddrie Mill Primary School, which has been converted into housing. It is a Celtic-style cross designed by T.T.
