Footbridge at Hailesland
The bridge provides pedestrian access from new flats across the Union Canal to the bus route on Hailesland Road. The yellow flowers on the right bank of the canal are Dandelions (Taraxacum sp), and on the left bank there are some magnificent clumps of Marsh Marigold (Caltha palustris)

The clumps of Marsh Marigold, also called Kingcups, along the south bank of the Union Canal at Hailesland are some of the best specimens I have ever seen.
